NOTABLE DATES FOR PARENTS

• Online applications for Reception Class open - Friday 5th November 2024
• Online applications for Reception close -   Wednesday 15th January 2025
• Final date for acceptance of on-time changes to application details - Friday 7th February 2025
• National Offer Day: emails sent after 4pm - Wednesday 16th April 2025
• Deadline for places to be accepted or declined - Wednesday 30th April 2025
• Deadline for late applications and waiting list requests - Wednesday 30th April 2025
• Deadline for lodging appeals - Tuesday 20th May 2025

APPEALS PROCEDURE

If your child is due to start Primary school in September 2024, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Wednesday 16th April 2024). 

You need to submit your appeal before Tuesday 20th May 2025 for it to be considered by Tuesday 22nd  July 2025.  Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department of Education.

For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department of Education.

Applications for 2025

For children starting school in September 2025 applications for reception will open on 5 November 2024 and close on 15 January 2025.

• You can apply for up to 3 schools.
• Put the schools in order of preference.
• It’s in your best interest to list 3 schools.
• Naming only one school does not guarantee your child a place at that school or give your child priority for a place over another child.
• You are not able to name the same school more than once.
•  

To apply for a school outside of Kent, name the school in your application with your other preferences. Your application details will be passed on to the relevant local authority for processing.

Applications are processed between 16 January and 15 April 2025.

Visiting the School

We will be hosting open sessions for prospective parents and children to view the school on the following dates: 

Monday 11th November 2025 - from 1:30 pm

Wednesday 13th November 2025 - from 1:30 pm

Thursday 14th November 2025 - from 1:30 pm

These sessions will be split into staggered appointments, when our year 6 children will be showing parents round the school.
