Year 6 SATs 📚✏️

At the end of Year 6, all children take SATs (Standard Assessment Tests) in English Reading, English Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (GPS), and Mathematics. These tests take place during May each year and help us to assess your child's progress and attainment at the end of Key Stage 2.

What Are SATs? 🤔

SATs are national tests set by the government to measure children's understanding and skills in core subjects. The results help us to identify strengths and areas for development, and they are shared with secondary schools to support your child's transition to Year 7. 🎓 Please follow the link below to find out more:

We prepare children carefully throughout Year 6, building their confidence and skills in a supportive and positive way. Our focus is always on helping every child to do their best while maintaining a love of learning. ❤️

What Happens Next? 📊✅

Results are shared with parents in July, and your child will receive a scaled score for each test. We're here to answer any questions you may have and to support your child every step of the way. 😊
