The Kent Test (11+) 📚✏️
The Kent Test, also known as the 11+, is an assessment taken by Year 6 pupils who wish to apply for a place at a grammar school in Kent for secondary education.
What is the Kent Test? 🤔
The Kent Test assesses children's abilities in:
- English 📖 (including comprehension and writing)
- Mathematics ➕➖ (reasoning and problem-solving)
- Reasoning 🧩 (verbal and non-verbal)
The test is usually taken in September of Year 6, and results are sent to parents in October.

At Victoria Road Primary School, we support all pupils throughout Year 5 and Year 6 to develop the skills and confidence needed for the Kent Test. We provide:

How to Register 📝✅
Registration for the Kent Test opens in June of Year 5 and closes in early July. Parents must register their child online via the Kent County Council website.
