The Great Year 6 Bake Off!
We have a winner!
Thanks to all of those that took part in our bake off - our winners were Grace and Lacey, who we have commissioned to make their cakes for the Leavers Assembly. Runners up were: Edith, Freya and Harriet, who will be making their cakes for the leavers production evening. A well done also to: Archie, Bradley, Charley Frampton, Levin, Scarlett, Spencer. A shout out as well to Charley Hill for her 'imaginative' invisible cakes!

Welcome to Term 5 2018!
This will be a very busy term for Year 6 as we sit our SATS tests this month. Below, with our newsletter and topic web, please find the SATS timetable for 2018 - we will update our class page nearer the time, along with tips for preparation leading up to the big week!
On a more creative note, we will be choosing the theme for our end of term production so that we can begin work on it as soon as SATS have finished - more news to follow when we have decided on our project!

Welcome to Term 2 2017!
We have another wonderful term of learning lined up this term: first however, a few updates:
Due to an administration error at Dover Castle, the trip to 'Operation Dynamo' has been moved from Monday 6th November to Thursday 23rd November - please make a note of amended date.
Remembrance Assembly on Friday 10th November will be led by Year 6 orating some of the World War I poems they will be writing this week. I am sure they will, as usual, be of a very high standard and look forward to posting some of them on the class page.
Below you will find the medium term plan for Term 2: in maths we will be continuing with numbers, fractions and decimals and english will continue to focus on our topic theme: World War 1 poetry, a narrative set during the Blitz and newspaper reports focusing on events that took place during the Blitz.
